1. Who we are

Adoptic (the Tees Valley Digital Register) is operated by Nexintell Limited, 36 Witton Park, Stockton-on-Tees TS18 3BE. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Use.

2. Accounts and user categories

Accounts are offered to business owners, local authority / council staff, and buyers / partners. You must provide accurate details and keep your login credentials confidential. We may suspend accounts that misrepresent identity or ownership.

3. Business claims and verification

Claiming a business asserts that you own or are authorised to represent it. Verification is by email code or supporting document and is reviewed by Adoptic. Verified owners may edit profile details, add listings and receive priority ranking in search. False claims will be removed and may be reported.

4. Data sources and accuracy

Business data is derived from Companies House (Open Government Licence v3.0), ONS, Ofcom Connected Nations and MHCLG Indices of Deprivation, combined with automated digital-footprint checks. It is provided for information only; BDAF scores are indicative and no warranty is given as to accuracy or completeness. Owners can correct their own records from their dashboard.

5. Subscriptions, licences and payments

District licences, SaaS plans, credits and consultancy services are billed by Nexintell Limited via Stripe. Prices exclude UK VAT at 20% unless stated. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from your Account page; refunds are handled in line with UK consumer and B2B law. Council invoices are payable within 30 days by BACS.

6. Acceptable use

You must not scrape, resell or bulk-export data outside the plan you hold, attempt to circumvent daily query limits, upload unlawful content, or interfere with the service. The public API and widget may only be used on domains we have authorised.

7. Intellectual property

The Adoptic platform, BDAF methodology, scoring and reports are the intellectual property of Nexintell Limited. Underlying open data remains subject to its original licences. Council PDF reports may be shared within the licensing authority.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexintell Limited excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform or reliance on its data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions: hello@adoptic.io.
