Cookie Use

Adoptic uses a small number of strictly necessary technologies to run the service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

• Session / authentication — a signed token (browser local storage and an HttpOnly refresh cookie) keeps you signed in and enforces your plan limits.
• Preferences — your chosen local-authority scope, map panel layout and cookie choices are stored in your browser.
• Security — short-lived state values protect sign-in, OAuth connections and payment redirects from tampering.

Payments are processed by Stripe, which sets its own cookies on the checkout page. Maps are served by Mapbox. Emails are delivered by Resend. Each provider's own policy applies when you interact with their service.

We record anonymous, aggregated usage events (for example widget searches and page views) to improve the service. These do not identify you and are not shared with advertisers.

You can clear or block storage in your browser settings; doing so will sign you out and reset preferences. Contact hello@adoptic.io with any questions.
